Why did I start laser hair removal?
Like every woman, especially of Asian background, I have always had a constant battle with hair! My face, my legs, my underarms and not to mention all the other obvious areas…
After struggling for many years of trying every product on the market: creams, shavers, waxing, epilators, and even hair lightening creams, I started to research laser hair removal, after all – with the amount of money I’ve spent on this necessary evil I could have bought a BMW by now! Anything that promises ‘no more hair growth’ must be given a go!
Which laser is best?
I researched a lot. When I say a lot I mean a LOT! Starting with looking at different types of lasers, reading all the forums, reading the horror stories….everything. I finally whittled the best type of laser to two and found the most up-to-date model on the market was the LightSheet Duet Laser.
It was recommended as very suitable for Asian skin which was perfect for me. I searched the internet for that laser and it just so happened that this particular laser was being used in a salon near me. It was just the reason why I took the plunge and went to see Siobhan. I haven’t looked back since!!!

Siobhan is an absolute Godsend. She is wonderful to be around, down to earth and very friendly. I felt at home as soon as I walked into the room. Siobhan makes you feel safe, is very professional, makes great conversation to help distract you from the pain (which is bearable) and is just a really really nice person.

She has over 10 years of experience doing this type of work and she takes it very seriously
Siobhan spends time talking to you, making you feel comfortable and I intend to stay with Siobhan as long as she’ll have me!
Not only do I recommend Siobhan for her expertise and value for money, but she will also always do her best to accommodate last minute changes which, working in a busy office, is so comforting.
Results so far…
I have to say, coming up to my third full body I am over the moon and extremely pleased with the results. It is already 60% less hair on my body now and I have 4 more sessions to go! My legs are so much smoother, no ingrowing hairs, the dark patches under my arms have reduced by 70%…so much more besides.
